Nothing can keep Charlotte OC down. After being signed and dropped by her record label when she was 18, she has returned with the sound of a seasoned soul singer and is ready to take the world by storm. With the recent release of her latest single, “If My House Was Burning”, her debut album is due to be released this September. She’s currently on tour in the UK and seemingly lives for the excitement of performing on stage.
As a young girl growing up in Blackburn, England, Charlotte O’Connor was influenced by the music of Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, and Billie Holiday. Her style is a bit gothic, preferring to wear vintage caftans during her performances. Her sultry sound mixed with electronic pop is almost haunting and given her affection for witches- it seems fitting that she would draw listeners in with her captivating sound.
