Food Facts- 10 Twisted Hot Cocoa Variations

When I want something hot and steamy (in a mug), I typically go for a cappuccino or latte. Sometimes even an herbal tea. But it wasn’t until this winter when I started craving a good old fashioned mug of hot chocolate. However, I wasn’t a fan of the instant variety with those freeze dried marshmallows and lengthy list of ingredients. And whether I made it with water or milk- the taste just always seemed a bit off and quite frankly- very flat and unsatisfying.

So to defeat the deficiency of the store bought brands, I decided to get creative in the kitchen and mix up my own batch of hot chocolate varieties. There are so many possibilities when it comes to chocolate combinations, but I’ve narrowed the choices down to these (10) recipes that are sure to add some WOW factor to your next mug of hot chocolate!
